- Open Government Directive: OMB Directive to all federal agencies that follows from the Memorandum on Transparency and Open Government.
- Open Government Cabinet Commitments: To mark the publication of the Open Government Directive in December 2009, every one of the Cabinet Departments launched a brand new open government initiative.
- Apps.gov: The GSA’s storefront for social media, cloud IT, productivity, and business applications to support the Open Government Initiative.

- Participate DB. ParticipateDB is a collaborative catalogue for online tools for participation (often referred online dialogue, online deliberation etc.).
- Participedia. Participedia aims to create and gather public knowledge to deepen democracy. Based on a wiki platform, its main content will be user-generated articles that will describe and assess participatory governance throughout the world.
